Olympic Fanfare and Theme de John Williams (versión de 1996 con Bugler’s Dream de Leo Arnaud)

Bugler’s Dream fue compuesta por Leo Arnaud en los ‘30. En 1958, Arnaud compuso por encargo del director Felix Slatkin The Charge Suite, que incluía su Bugler’s Dream. La cadena de televisión ABC comenzó a utilizar la suite para la cobertura de los Juegos Olímpicos (empezando en 1968 en los Juegos de Invierno).

En 1984 (Juegos Olímpicos celebrados en Los Angeles) John Williams compuso Olympic Fanfare and Theme.

En 1996 (Juegos Olímpicos celebrados en Atlanta) Williams re-grabó su pieza para el album Summon The Heroes. La composición ahora comenzaba con un arreglo propio de Bugler’s Dream de Arnaud pero con una repetición del tema con gran orquesta, seguida por su propia fanfarria (fuente).
